Keeping it real
According to the Harvard Crimson , Ian Nichols, the vice president of the undergraduate student council, resigned after incurring the wrath of council members for lackluster attendance at meetings. Nichols had served on a split ticket with the president after each won their respective seats despite campaigning with running mates against each other.
In what promises to be one of the more memorabls speeches, Nichols spoke for less than a minute, and then walked right out. His entire speech apparently consisted of the following:
I don’t feel I’ve really made the UC my number one priority this semester and I don’t know if this whole split ticket thing is working out. Take care guys, it’s been real.
Can you imagine Dick Cheney keeping it real? Or Al Gore for that matter?

I dont think Cheney or Gore were ever "late" to their jobs. This guy needs to get a life, or at least join the army, they'll teach him some manners there.
Currahee!
perhaps we can expect today's post at some point?
you have to be kidding me terps. cheney is always absent from his! you can't possibly believe he is in hiding 5 out of every 7 days? lets face it he has had 5 too many heartattaches and can't handle the pressure of the spotlight anymore. even though the party won't admit it, its gotta be the number one reason why no one is mentioning cheney for the 2008 nod (and i would consider voting for him too, or pretty much anyone else who isn't named hillary or condi...yeah, i stand by my views on what a women must do beforegarnering my support for her presidency).
What makes you think the VP isnt doing his job? Just because he isnt in the public spotlight doesnt mean he isnt... The VP's position is more administrative anyways.
he is always mia. i am not asking for the man to say hello everyday, i am talking maybe saying hey once- oh lets say- a month. he doesn't do that (minus election time). the dude isn't well. i am doubting he is doing much of anything besides resting.
When keeping it real goes wrong...
Yeah chappelle...
